I'm still wondering how we ended up with "ハイラル" being translated to "Hyrule" in Zelda games?
"ハイラル" (HA-I-RA-RU) seems to be a completely made up term.
From what I've seen, "Hyrule" is pronounced "High-Rule" in English, so it's somewhat close to the "HA-I-RA-RU" Japanese pronunciation.
For now it's the best explanation I can come up with. #gaming 22/12/2024 à 20:13
