My website was down for a couple of hours this morning…
An Ubuntu #nginx security update (`1.24.0-2ubuntu7.10`) quietly broke the ABI for third-party modules. My `headers_more` module started corrupting the HTTP status line of every response, so browsers just saw garbage and refused to load anything.
Confusingly, the app itself was healthy the whole time; nginx was mangling its replies on the way out.
Fix: disabled the broken module and restarted. Known bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/source/nginx/bug/2155992/ Back up now. 09/06/2026 à 13:20
